1st October 2011, around 4.00pm

this was the one time in life when i was so close to death. and its probably the first time i met with an accident. it does not involve my car or with another motor vehicle but it was me, my weak fragile body of any human kind.

i was knocked by a motorbike while crossing a zebra-crossing over at my block area. its extremely ridiculous on how the driver could still go over the hump when cars in front are coming to a hail for me to bypass, common sense. It appears out of nowhere, i could not react by avoiding but my natural reflexes suggest me to lift up my right arm and leg to block the impact. at that moment, i was quite fucked up; my mind went blank. everything around my surrounding seems to have come to a standstill, cars stopped, pedestrians were shocked and everyone just freezes and starred.

i did not receive any flashbacks but i was worried for my existence in life. what if everything went wrong, every possible variables got worse and it eventually erases my presence.

An adorable yet annoying person told me, "if" is a big word and one shan't use "if" when they can't fulfill any promises they kept, he kept or i kept.

we only live our life once, and i didn't want any regrets in life. so the next day i told her, i misses her.

an accident that almost destroyed me but it brought down my pride.

All of the sudden, i had this urge to fulfill my interest. In doing the things i like, doing it the way i want it to be and eventually becomes a very part of my career; my life. When you are young, you worry about wealth. As you grew older, you worry about health. For me, i was concerned about wealth and health. How wealth would shape your life and how health would change your perspectives of life. I went through a tiny bit of both during my trip to Phuket, Thailand. This past few months was a lesson and an experience sought after going through various events that happens to me. Its was a "Think about how you want people to look at you in 10 years time" kinda of stuff.

when you are high up, your friends know who you are.

when you are low down, you know who your friends are.

Today i almost lost my wallet while boarding the train. i wasnt able to feel my wallet which was placed in the right pouch of my bag. Then i stopped and ransacked my bag, and it was lying inside within my books.

Then once i reached woodland regional interchange, while boarding the bus, i recalled. In fact, i would lost my memories, if i lost my wallet.

i visit you everyday, read the post that have been uploaded and, collect back reasons for those that are stored in the draft, in the past.

i do visit facebook as well, and i feel very warmth by those comments. Thank you.

the calls that i received everynight, was a short-term remedy that ease the pain away from me till the next morning. i'm very grateful that people actually spend their time listening to me.

Come to think of it, everything seems very clear to me now. the fact that all couples appear to be so perfect, had actually went through the same problems as we did or worst still. knowing all these, made me feel "edward, you suck and you'll gonna regret for your life"

dear journal,

i wanted to close down this blog since life is a bitch, everything takes time to complete and it's cumbersome to record your daily life into this electronic memory.

on the other hand, why close down? i took alot of effort posting every single memories i went through be it alone or with someone else. i'll store them here in signin--edward.blogspot.com.

adding on to my reasons, i have nothing much to hold onto. nothing at all. i'm all alone, back to square one. no more harassment calls, no more report calls, no more nothing anymore. heehh freedom huh.

i feel so empty all of the sudden, i've built on a constant value and attitude base on a visitor who stayed with me throughout our journey. Now, i'm left with what's left from that visitor, some souvenirs.

i still remember i lost something valuable during this period last year, my ipod.

dear journal,

My ITP was alright, still manageable.
Had been monitoring the local media over the past few days.
Discussed over the ITQ sent by various suppliers and tabulated the results
my collegues, and the staffs there, are nice people.
guess everything was alright.

maybe it's probably me, but i tend to have the habit of staring outside the window while taking the mrt in the morning. i'm bored, bored of everything. the vivid memories shuffle in my eyes, while the things i see outside; may not be the things i see in my eyes.
or maybe i'm sick.

i still got so much things, i want to do with.

The Last Post

As stated on the title, today will be my last post on this blog.

Time flies, when i was still in year 1. Everything was fresh and exciting.
First day in school, had my lunch and placed my tray back onto the shelves. As the day goes by, i realize people leaving their tray on the table.. that how i differentiate the years 1 and 2 =)

We were all guai guai, going for every lecture and tutorial on time. Even homeworks were done before attending lessons! haha thats me in year 1, kiasu! bet everyone would react the same way as i do. Had this feeling that during year 1, every thing was so fun la! haha moberly is entetaining! with the k-box, pool and jamming room!

Cscc, hmm can say i donate half my life for that club le. Most of my holiday was spent over there. kinda no life but who knows, you made most of your life over there compared to those common life outside the club. it's been fun being a year 1 in cscc, only fun existed and not those silly gossips people are making. i really appreciate all the time cscc peeps had spent with me. Thank you

Another thing to highlight would be Melfare and GL's, i think melfare is the best sub-com compared to the rest la.. please.. haha people over there are fantastic! The members, the jokes, the gathering, the suaning and the suffering of camps.. the part and parcel of life in cscc really bond us as a whole today. Felt very accomplished or a sense of satisfaction, my time in poly was not wasted at all. every single day, i'm creating present memories and every single day in the future, i reminisce about the past; like now.

Gls, life is never the same after one have gone through the extreme out of this section in the camp. it is one in a life time experience and it is one that you'll never regret working your ass for it. On the other hand, without the Gp, cscc is nth but a piece of singing and cheering loud speakers.

Finally, being a MC. it's been 10 months already and the vivid memories of how tough my journey was towards the path i have chosen still felt like what happened yesterday, a long story. And today is the last day of our MC meeting, my last post. I rediscovered alot of weird people in some other sub-com mainly the Com-ser. Gosh, group of weird but capable batch of members. Weird in a funny way i guess. haha Enjoyed managing the Club with them, and those tough times was supported by them as well. Last but no least, thank you kerwin and weimin. believing in someone is a thing, providing hope for him/her is another thing, giving opportunity to is one thing and taking great effort to mend things back is something. Not bad, the club still survive.

Today 12.2.2010 is my 10th months with Gina! haha am really happy, discovering the beauty of a girl and just that girl. Not just one month, one year or one decade. It's a lifetime thing, teenager, working adults and ah gong & ah ma.

haha yeah it's been long since i blog about this community.
anyway, SPstar for a start is a new experience gained.
though it was tired, though it was pain-raking
at the end of the day, everything was worthwhile seeing the audience filling up their seats
were a satisfaction to me.

and yes through this event we get to see reluctant helpers and diligent ones.
maybe through hardship then we get to differentiate people.

being a logis wasnt fun at all and this was my first time working without the help of Song Chuan.
haiz felt very uncertain about lots of things.
like i said being a logis wasnt fun at all but i didnt expect things to turn out differently.

I read someone's blog and their blog mentions about priority.
they are right! reality check people!
hmm i'm having mood swing recently!?
period of the month, and it came out brown coloured preferably in the morning.
havnt had a good sleep since school started, with late attendances from various module.
looking like a pathetic fool traveling from lectures to tutorials.
Every Tuesday would be a knockout for me, with 5 lectures and 1 tutorials.
i so hope SP provide us with "nap" module for in between lessons.
As for the things i crave for is FC6 Muslim stall and Pig organ soup.. truly imbal with the right ingredient for incredible taste.

i wrote fantastic poems that ordinary commoners cant really understand, i wrote fabulous quotes that people tend to copy.

didnt seem really tired after CSCC chalet =D
wasnt complaining to mum about the distance back home =D
didnt nag about the standing back home procedures =D

The chalet was okay, the food was alright, the games was exciting yet didnt last long
however the welfare 09/10 was fantastic or "might" be even better than last year's
but every year has their own unique qualities.
they did a great job.

anyway the main point of this post is, everything was so-so
but i realized i gained something valuable
or should i consider it as a refound friend

crystals blocked my vision as i tried to witness my reflection from the other end.
my vision went swollen or was it due to my contact lenses?
starring into random spaces, the train travels.

anyway, i've thought it through and it's done. HAI! hahahahahaha
i'm going lots and lots of camp after today! only 2 bah
woohoo, we are sleeping in a resort & hotel yeah!
No more forest, No more digging soil to shit or saying "ex si kill me" to pee!
finally a camp that i'm going to enjoy.
it's time to be more understanding, rather than being enlightened till the end of our journey.

yup, it has ended.
it's weird, when everything is done, it's done.
i bet every cousin feels the same as well.
going back to your own house, sitting in front of your desktop, having weird flashback
now that it's done, isn't it weird to have someone missing off the orange coloured couch.
when you enter, the first person you greet is her
and when you leave the last person you greet is her.
now that things has come to an end, it seems a lot quieter in 422.
422 is a place where i discover warmth and joy where everyone naturally gather together to celebrate special days. They are a batch of nice people, kinship.

it's like a time phrase where i grew up with mia sim,

switching of maids from phase to phase but the ones and all, i remembered was all

Holy Shit...
i managed to borrow not one but TWO books from Singapore Polytechnic Main Library!
Hahax yes ppl reading this might find it "LAME" but... "give me some credit and hear me out"
OMG i was like! how the hell you find the books you want in the first place...
then i go... "Holy MOoOoOo COW Apollo SHIT in the Mars House she's outta this world" there's so many shelves in the Library...
Out of the blue, one particular Computer out of No-where "shines", like literally shines just for me^^
yes, i begin typing the titles of the books i wanted and relocated it by myself! by MYSELF!

Then here comes my second problem, how do you use the machine to borrow books?!
everytime see my friend doing it, Edward chan should have not problem doing it too!?\
HAHA expected, the machine was too simple for me to operate...until i dun noe how to use...
what scan admin card then key in password then the book agian... what the hell...

i was figuring out infront of the machine, while some mugger quene-ing behind me doesnt wanna take the initiative to teach me...

WAHAHA, lucky i'm smart, i purposely withdrew the admin card faster than the machince can SCAN! HAHAX then the machine couldnt read and appear ERROR!!! LOLX then the librarian no choice just have to manually administrate the books to us^^ i'm proud of myself!

yes we met up with jiayi and ernest at tampines and since it was quite late, we decided to cab down...
and i tell u this was i huge mistake! the taxi driver sooooo D_MN gu_i l_n lah! i tell u. ( though i dun quite remember the conversation) but to cut the long story short, he brought us to the wrong place which cost $9.20) gu_i l_n uncle, u WATCH OUT & BECAREFUL i tell u. ( not that i can do anything, but still.... haiz ya nvm!) moving on, the four of us decided not to go that night and will go down on sat instead.
but huisi msged us to go down since we are so near... and so we think think think, think think den decided to go. YES, another $8.80? around that price.

so to all taxi driver out there, (not that they will be reading this. hahaha)

my gems photography, really surge the interest in me. pushing me forward in search for beautiful architecture that was never really appreciated by simple-minded Singaporeans like you and me. you guys may think i'm bullshitting here hahaha but actually i am!
what more can i really contribute to the art of photography, yes i'm quite noble. On the contrary,
under the art of it... vaste knowledge and numerous skills can be applied on... photography itself.
What wonders can i make? what more can my camera itself capture the essence of every individual object? Lol but i must first consider? what i need to fulfill my gems teacher's requirement.. he and his pussygraphy mindset..

Damn i think i really need a hairband, an unbreakable one.. after breaking several pieces of my mum's and sis's.. everyday ask me to pay up=( fringe is always poking my eye from the place i stay to the place i study during the MRT duh... i kept tilting my head, people thought i acting cool or giving the wrong body language.. but i just wan to split my fringe and eye ball away from each other.. irritating daily problem i must overcome and i will overcome=)

throughout the holidays
i had fun peace laughter joy, overjoyed and saddness.
but didnt really cherish it
thing changes, as the pendulum swings

first day in school
everything seems so sian
i dun really noe why..
maybe because i'm just not used to it..
the waking up, the listening to lecturers and the dictatorship of tutorials
maybe because i just miss holidays,
the feeling of being late for meetings and carrying a mr bean soya milk in,
getting reprimanded by our heads or chairperson.
the sarcastic remarks " No one's listening to you" and continous jokes throughout the meeting
the excitment of hanging out with friends, the bickering and stoning.
all these seems like just yesterday and fading away day by day
i really hope everything will be back to normal agian, like before
i really hope.. =)

Meet up with Guanyu and Murdany. We walked all over Orchard Road. going in and coming out of shopping malls, trying to hunt down Yaoye's birthday present! Some things nv changed huh=0

Soon, i rushed over to Joshua's birthday celebration! What a holy day! both of them are my closest brother! and i did holy stuff to them!?! yeah! went to marina sqaure to catch a movie(mal cop) it's hilirous=) ,with all the cscc member whom came down to celebrate with Joshua chan. Rmb, you have to pay double! haha tell you wat. i've decided to crash your yearly birthday celebrations even if you dun invite me! Happy birthday 18 years old bro! 1 year++ of friendship and growing strong. Still rmb the word on trust? haha i trust you kay!

Haha almost forgotten! went to berlinda's house for Overnight Mahjong^^ players were Derrick, Joshua, Aaron, Johnson and me! Haha mahjong is always very fun! and exciting 2! Omg should see how Derrick plays, he may be a beginner but he won the most of it.. first round already took away half our potato chips!

Eldoras Outing.. Woohoo

Woke up as early as i could=) i'm lying haha

Went to make a new passport for myself with my mum

Coz she kept pestering me to.. irritating huh.. can nag the whole day non-stop.

Here's the main point, was late for Eldoras Outing Haha. met up with Gina since she's late too.. haha i had to wait for her-.-! irritating huh.. so we went to find this so-called brains/minds cafe and we thought we knew the right way but we went the wrong side.. we quarrelled while walking and while finding..

finally our kids came to save us! phew or were they late as well haha no idea. anyway i have never been to this cafe before! but as their daddy or mummy we must act ZAI! haha so we act like we know everything^^

The games over there, was fun. coz most of us Zi high(ownself high) haha.

all in all, the outing was very exciting thoughout the cafe! we even had mass TA~BOO game=)

Making a Speech in my Secondary School was awesome

I felt very honoured being invited.
On the other hand, I felt very useless of myself, why i wasnt being able to make it for the Speech day where Mr Grabiel Goh will be.

Now his gone, somewhere far away? or maybe in Singapore still..

My Speech to the whole school was alright, maybe i added abit of my style. as in how i chat with my friends. Thats how i deliever my speech. i even promoted CSCC^0^

While i mention Mr Grabiel Goh's name, hmm maybe it me, just me. i realise my tears were surging out from my eyes but i was able to control it. Yup thats all Thank you, And thats where all the claps begin.

After everything, i went home to changed and rushed down to Joshua surprise celebration. Crushed ZUMBIE's plan. but didnt expect more/alot groups to come. Lol, seriously i nv heard of Kenny Roger and this particular person called and challenged me to reach Kenny Roger within 10 mins -.-! haha yeah i'm always late for something. all my buddies and friends knew about this. SENSE OF URGENCY! SENSE OF URGENCY! See from the picture?! damn freaking lots of camper came over to celebrate his birthday! cool right! Oh ya and Pearlyn really did a great job with organising^^

Lastly, the campers that came for this extraordinary camp which really change your perception on what a REAL camp looks like. Thanks for coming=) I hope the 4D3N really make you guys enjoy yourself.

days has drifted apart and FO camp seen like just yesterday, or izzit just me. i bet everyone whose reading this right now, feels the same way with as i do. what should i say, good things never really last long enough for you to be satisfied.

GL training, was tough extremely tough but one must endure to really enjoy it's labour of success. Thanks to the GLs whom have been encouraging each other throughout that hell training. We experience mixtures of emotions from the start of training to the end of preparation camp. Scared, sad, happy, angry, piss, dirty, smelly, vomit, you name it we got it. hahaha but this is the way we are bonded together as one GL team. Kuoqiang, his always the one whom lessen our training and really take care of our welfare. His also our club's Mr. nice guy. Whenever the GL's couldnt make it for training, we'll call him coz he will accede to our request undoubtedly. as for Hui si, she is like taking the role of a Father while Kuo Qiang as the Mother. She'll always push us to our limit, in terms of training and camp songs. She might be fierce at times but we all know that it's for our own good. Thanks to her, we GLs have finally reach a true standard of what a Real GL should be. All in all, under their guidance we were able to lead our individual groups to the end of camps. Our identity: GL bracelet "GL ichiba!"

Preparation camps, tough but wasnt as physical as the one in our GLT. GLs being a camper experience and try out all the games. Feedback to the Games OC. GL vs GP scenerio happened quite few a times. We were also suppose to draw a clear lines. And soon got married to Gina during the wedding ceremony. Quite Shocked to get her as my partner.Lol, like something so unexpected because we didnt have much harmony but alot of quarrelling before the Prep camp and before the GL training. During the wedding ceremony, i felt relief yet happy and awkward. Hahahaha. come to think of it now, i feel very stupid and silly of myself. HA~HA

At first, we tried getting along, no quarrelling and copying wat the other GL's were doing.

haha, ya we did mess up quite a few times but didnt think of it and moved on!

Eldoras was very stiff at first, most of them were very shy.

we tried our best to cheer them=)

but to no avail.

Fortunately, some of them were very high. which also bring up the atmosphere of Eldoras=)

a day where names are remembered and bonds are formed,

things get better as Eldoras move on from stations to stations.

lucky i'm smart enough to rush to the toilet to dry up. haha

one game called hockey game,

quite irritated yet amazed what my GL partner could do.

told her to stop playing yet she still continue. end up kena cut on the finger.

All in all, i really feel that my kids are getting bonded! They even lead camp songs during dinner time. while the rest of the groups follow. WOW ELDORAS ZAI!

I slept outside the girls toilet!! lol maybe i'm too tired coz some of my kids were still waiting for their turn.

anyway everything in the camp is improving! the mood, the cheers, the songs, the activity, the food even the pace. lol everything seems to pass so so so so fast. by the time you know it, it's camp fire and disco night!
